Theater curator and critic Ivan Demidkin held an online festival, The Politics of Culture
The festival program featured five lectures on protest theater, performance, dance, and activism. All funds raised by ticket sales were donated by Ivan to the humanitarian project Helping to Leave.
"Art is a tool for public response to social, political and any other processes. Art history is a repository of such tools. We will talk about how different art practices have led their resistance at different times."
The festival is now over, but the lectures are still available for viewing for a donation — all proceeds will also be donated to Helping to Leave.
