Help for Activists, Human Rights Defenders and Journalists Who have Left Russia because of Social Activism or their Anti-War Stance

The Free Russia Foundation provides legal advice, assistance with legalisation and temporary accommodation

The foundation's activities to help Russians abroad are present in several countries. In Georgia, for example, a shelter is available for people who need housing for the first time; its partners provide legal advice for activists and journalists who are in Germany or are planning to move to Germany for humanitarian reasons. Representatives of the foundation also provide legal and psychological support to Russians who are in Ukraine or have been forced to leave it because of the war.

In the near future, the foundation plans to launch assistance programmes in the Baltic states and Poland.
