"Russians of Sakartvelo" unites emigrants in Georgia who would like to maintain their active civic position
Vladimir Dubovsky, a former coordinator of Navalny's headquarters in Vladivostok, who was forced to leave Russia back in 2021, became one of the founders of the association. He and his comrades-in-arms decided that together they could help other Russians in Georgia learn the local culture and integrate more rapidly, while also being a politically active structure.
One of the actions organized by Russians of Sakartvelo was holding weekly meetings at Stas Gaivoronsky's Itaka Books store, where everyone could write letters to political prisoners in Russia and Belarus.
