"On December 25th, our team organized a New Year's Eve party for the refugee centre in Vranje. We have been preparing for the party during a month and a half. We collected almost 800 kg of goods for adults — clothing items, hygiene products, cooking utensils. More than 200 people took part in the collection, bringing clothes or donating money. Thanks to your active participation, all 29 children of the centre received from Santa the gifts they've asked for.
Dove of Peace was created specifically to help people affected by Russia's military action in Ukraine and helps with everyday issues: getting medicine, medical care, clothes or simply finding information. Since April 2002 Dove of Peace helps refugee centre in Vranje — it brings collected humanitarian aid, collects personal requests and orders and fulfils them.
To get help, you have to fill in an application form on the website. The organisation always welcomes new volunteers, for those who cannot help regularly but are willing to donate money or items from time to time, information about new collections is regularly posted on social media.
