More Than 400 People Supported "True Russia" at a Charity Meeting with Boris Akunin

Early September, writer Boris Akunin, one of the founders of the True Russia foundation, held a creative evening in Berlin at which funds were raised to help Ukraine

"Of the two eternal Russian questions, for some reason we are all fixated on the question 'who is to blame' rather than 'what to do'. And the main question now is "what to do?"

Thanks to the participants and organisers more than 9,000 euros were raised for humanitarian aid projects for those affected by the war in Ukraine. Many thanks to all those who supported and continue to support our work! We would especially like to thank the Jewish community of Berlin, which provided the venue, and the organisers of the meeting, ArtWelle.

"I see a lot of excitement and discussion right now about how Russian culture is under attack and how difficult it is for the poor Russian culture. It's indeed having a hard time, but I don't really need to think about it now because there are much more tragic and serious things going on."

We continue to help Ukrainians affected by war. Support the charitable projects of "True Russia"!
